Ultrafiltration Plant is used in both pretreatment and post treatment of water. We Supply and install custom made ultrafiltration Water systems (UF Systems) up to 10 m3/Hr, units can be semi or fully programmable and PLC controlled. These are extensively used in industrial water and wastewater treatment applications.These units are next generation equipment, designed to minimize investmen cost and maximize performance meeting stringent environmental protection requirements.Using hollow-fiber Ultrafiltration Membranes, we can engineer ultrafiltration package system, ultrafiltration pilot plant and turnkey Ultrafiltration plant for Low (< 5 NTU), Medium (< 20 NTU) and High (< 50 NTU) turbidities. 

Our standard series of Ultrafiltration systems are modular units fixed on a skid frame (Powder coated MS or SS) fitted with inlet and outlet and product water connections. There are various optional components are available on request that can added as per clients’ requirements.​

Multi grade filter

Multi-grade filter is a depth filter that makes use of coarse and fine media mixed together in a fixed proportion. This arrangement produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. A latest concept in the water treatment technology, a Multi Grade Filter consists of vertical pressure sand filters that contain multiple layers of Pebbles, Silex, coarse, Rough and fine sand in a fixed proportion. It is a kind of a deep filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended solids and un-dissolved impurities like dust particles. As compared to conventional sand water filter, this Multi-grade filtration system works on higher specific flow rates. 

It is also a low cost pre-treatment system for ion exchangers (deionizer and softener) and membrane systems such as reverse osmosis etc. With high throughputs, high dirt-holding capacity and capacity to reduce turbidity and TSS (< 5ppm) from water, it protects ion-exchange resins and membranes from physical fouling due to suspended impurities present in the water.​

Activated carbon filter

Activated Carbon filtering is a method of filtering that uses a bed of activated carbon to remove contaminants and impurities, using chemical adsorption. Each particle/granule of carbon provides a large surface area/pore structure, allowing contaminants the maximum possible exposure to the active sites within the filter media. Granular activated carbon (GAC) is commonly used for removing organic constituents and residual disinfectants in water supplies. This not only improves taste and minimizes health hazards; it protects other water treatment units such as reverse osmosis membranes and ion exchange resins from possible damage due to oxidation or organic fouling. DM Plant (Demineralizer or Deionization Plant)

A demineralizer is a system, which uses ion exchange chemical process to remove dissolved ionic compounds (salts) from water. It is also known as Deionized Water System, Demineralizer or DM Plant. A typical Demineralization Plant (DM Plant) consists of two vessels. The feed water or raw water is passed through first vessel i.e. containing strong base cation resin in the form of Hydrogen (H+), whereupon all the positively charged ions (sodium, calcium, iron and copper etc.)are exchanged for Hydrogen ions; after that, the water further passed through another vessel containing strong base anion resin in the form of Hyudroxyl (OH-),whereupon all the negatively charged ions (chloride, sulphate, nitrate, etc) are exchanged for hydroxide ions which then combine with the hydrogen ions to form water.​

When water is referred to as‘Hard! it simply means, that it contains excess of calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) lons than normal water. Carbonate hardness is known as temporary hardness and non-carbonate hardness is known as permanenthardness. The degree of hardness of the water increases, when more calcium and magnesium ions are dissolves. These ions have their origins in limestone sediments and also from carbon dioxide which is present incll waters exposed to the atmosphere and especially in ground water. The easiest way to soft the hard water is through lon exchange process.
